Specific Registration Mark
Registration marks comprises of additional new combinations of two letters from FN up to ZZ followed by four numeric figures from 1 to 1000 subject to exceptions.
Allocation of the registration marks will be strictly on a ‘first come, first serve” basis. A special Unit has been set up for all matters and issues concerning registration marks on First Floor, NTA Head Office, MSI Building, Cassis until further notice.
The public is further informed that a Personalized Registration Mark may be reserved against a payment of Rs 2,000 and implemented against a payment of Rs 25,000. A reserved personalized registration mark does not tantamount to using the registration mark on a vehicle up to and until its implementation becomes effective, failing which an offence shall be committed.
- Payment online should be done by credit cards, MauCAS QR Scan/Pay and MauCAS Account Transfer through the application of juice and MyT money.
- Provision of service is subject to confirmation by the bank to the Treasury that the transaction is Successful.
- The payee should ensure availability of sufficient fund in his account.
- Allocation of Personalized Registration Mark will be restricted as follows for: Individual – 2 maximum
- Reservation or purchase of personalized registration mark for individuals will be done using NIC only.
- The Reservation period will be for one year only.

- Scroll down and click on “Apply for Personalized Registration Mark”.
- You will see two types of registration marks. One is for the FN-ZZ Series of Registration Mark, and the other is for the New Series of Registration Mark.
- You will need to log in with your Maupass Username and Password for both.
- For the FN-ZZ Series of Registration Mark, after you have logged in, you will have 2 options.
- 1st one is Apply for Personalised Registration Mark,
- 2nd option is Click here to view Your Workspace.
- After you have logged in for the New Series of Registration Mark, you can apply for any registration mark of your choice.
- Note that payment is made online for FN-ZZ Series of Registration Mark.
- In contrast, for the New Series of Registration Mark, payment must be made at NLTA office once approved.
To process your request, kindly forward your request to nta-registration@govmu.org with an extract of proof that your account has been debited as well as a screenshot of your workspace.

- Scroll down and click on “Apply for Personalized Registration Mark”.
- You will see two types of registration marks. One is for the FN-ZZ Series of Registration Mark, and the other is for the New Series of Registration Mark.
- Click on FN-ZZ Series.
- Log in with your Maupass Username and Password.
- After logging on the system, you will have several options.
- The last option is Click here to view Your Workspace.
- To apply for any other plate number that does not fall into the category FN-ZZ 1-1000, kindly send your query to nta-registration@govmu.org or call 202 2800/212 6513 for more info.
- Try clearing your browsing data (cache) and proceed again.

Payment online can be done through :

- Scan and Pay or Transfer of Money through the application of Juice or the MyT money.
- Please note that the paid amount of Rs 2000 for the reservation of the Registration Mark is not deducted in the amount of Rs 25000. The full amount to purchase the reserved Registration Mark is Rs 25000.
